Walking out of the lab, Ashley takes in Sunnydale town for the first time. It is a small town, yet it is very quaint. Ashley knows that there are not very many Pokemon here, but there are some. She hopes to find one or two, hopefully some rare ones.
Serina gazes adoringally up at Ashley. Her eyes are completely full of trust, and Ashley is suddenly struck with an idea. She walks over to the small area of water and looks around. After all, since she already has an electric type Pokemon, having a water type might help her out.
Glancing at the ground, Ashley spots a small pebble. "Hmmm, I wonder..." she mutters as she picks it up. With a determined toss, the pebble lands in the water some fifteen feet or so away. Ashley picks up another pebble as she waits to see if anything will happen. [/sub]

Something moved in the water. Suddenly, a Magikarp jumped out and began splashing about. Something else then jumped out with a huge wave of fury A Corsola! <Hey you! Why did you throw that rock at me!?> The Corsola angrily asked beginning to chase the Magikarp. <Please, I didn't do it!> the Magikarp pleaded. <Yeah, right!> the Corsola yelled back unbelieving. "Whoa, wait! Corsola, Magicarp didn't throw the rock, I did! And I didn't mean to hit you either. It was an accident!" Ashley yells anxiously to the enraged Corsola. <Do you think that it will attack us?> Serina asks drawing closer to Ashley. "Well, if it does you should be more than a match for it," Ashley replies smiling at her Pokemon. [/sub]

<What you threw the rock how dare you!> the corsola yelled at Ashley a look of madness on its face. Corsola stared at Ashley for a few minutes before an evil look popped on his face. Come on let's battle. Corsola immediately used tackle heading right toward Ashley.

OoC: Okay.... that is perhaps the worst grammar ever!
-------------
Ashley leaped back, barely dodging the attack. "What the crap, you're not battling me! Go, Serina, use a Tackle of your own!" she yelled, commanding her Pokemon. She glared at the Corsola, angry now as well. What was wrong with that Pokemon!?
Serina was only too happy to obey the command, wanting to protect her owner from the enraged water and rock type. She charged forward, faster that the Corsola, who was not as accustomed to land.
<Don't you ever try to hurt my trainer again, you!> the shiny Mareep cried out as she raced towards the Coral Pokemon.

< Hehe, fell right into my trap > The corsola laughed a evil laugh < Come on buddy lets show these guys a lessen. > A shroomish charged out of the bushes useing a tackle attack aiming for the back of Ashley's legs. The shroomish had scars all over his body and a big slash across both his eyes blinding him. < You humans ruined my life, > he screamed at Ashley.

Ashley and Serina paused in confusion at the Corsola's words. What did she mean? Then, all of a sudden, a badly injured Shroomish had popped out of the bushes and charged at Ashley's legs in a Tackle attack.
Ashley had no idea how the Shroomish could even tell where she was to have such good aim, with his blinded eyes, but he came in perfectly. Ashley didn't even have time to react, and the attack hit her hard. She cried out in pain and fell backwards into the pond, sinking under the water.
She struggled through the pain, and managed to get back to the surface and even swim to the shore. She pulled herself out of the water and collapsed on the ground, gasping for air.
<Ashley, no! Are you okay? You could have killed her, how DARE you!?> the shiny Mareep yelled in outrage, tears forming in her eyes. She hadn't been able to stop the Shroomish from Tackling Ashley. She had just stood frozen as her trainer had sank under the water. Serina didn't know whether to scream or cry, but she wanted to do both.
The Mareep faced the now two opponents, glaring at them. She didn't know what their problem was, and she didn't care. She began to store energy in her wool, preparing for a super-powered Thundershock attack.
Right before Serina was able to release the attack, Ashley stopped her. "No, Serina, wait," she said weakly, somehow managing to get to her feet. At least her legs weren't broken or anything, but they still hurt really badly. "Not all humans are bad! You just had the unfortunacy of meeting bad ones. I have been hurt by a human as well," Ashley said to the two Pokemon. She glanced at the Magikarp, wondering how long it could survive on land. A long time she knew, as Magikarp were adaptive, but not forever.
She sighed and turned around, so that her back was facing the two angry Pokemon. "Here, I'll show you," she said. She lifter up the back of her shirt a little bit, just enough so the Pokemon could see her lower back. "That scar was left on me after a guy ran into me with a car. After he murdered my mother," she said. She put her shirt back down and showed the two Pokemon her arms, which both had scars as well. "So were these. He nearly killed me, just like he did to my mother."

Corsola's first reaction was that of shock. He had thought of humans as terrible beings who took out all their anger on trusting pokemon, but this human seemed to defy all that he knew and belived. It wasn't the fact that humans hurt other humans that surprised him but that a human can feel the pain that another human lets out. Then the question arose is it possible that this human is just like them. After all she didn't let her pokemon attack them which was a trait he never saw in humans.
But corsola's mistrusting of humans which he had since that terrible experience came into play and he now believed he knew what was happining. She was lying, trying to get them to trust her so that she can use them and dispose of them without getting hurt.
Corsola's mask of surprise was replaced with a mischeivious smile. He fouind it quite amusing that he had questened his believes when she had given the ultamate prove of them. <You liar, like I don't know those marks are self-served so you can get us to trust you!> he informed, <thank you for conforming my ideas on humans.>
<I don't think she's lying,> shroomish said which was strange because he nearly always agreed with his friend. <Shroomish, shroomish,> corsola said shaking his head, <you just don't understand, you were so badly hurt and still you trust them.> <Help, can't breath,> moaned magicarp who had been flapping around without air for the whole conversation. <Shut up! We're conversing!> corsola yelled at magicarp. Magicarp flailed about rapidly and gasped for air while corsola and shroomish continued their conversation.
<Don't you see what they're like, don't you understand?> corsola asked. <That's it!> yelled magicarp and he glowed with a bright yellow light. Where the magicarp once layed a giant gyarados head now was. His body layed half way in the lake.
<How dare you, you almost killed me!> gyarados yelled at corsola and shroomish, <You will pay!> Gyarados used thrash on the two surprised pokemon. He threw his tail around hitting the pokemon and knocking them on the ground. Shroomish was on his back franticly moving his feet trying to stand up while corsola jumped up and growed at gyarados.
Gyarados then used splash and unlike magicarp it had a big effect. Gyarados's huge body made a growing wave in the water. The water came up to one great wall. The giant wave came towards the shore and was about to swallow the unsespecting beings.

Ashley waited, biting her lip. Would the Pokemon believe her? She hoped so, because she really had no intention of hurting them. Then, the Corsola's surprised expression turned back to a mischevious, plotting one. He didn't believe her; Ash didn't need to hear his reply to know that. However, as his reply was issued, it was the human's turn to express shock.
Why the heck would she hurt herself just to get the Pokemon to trust her? And when would she have been able to besides? She had no idea she would meet such mistrusting Pokemon beforehand, and she could's have inflicted the wounds upon herself while they were watching. "Wh-what!? That's crazy, I wouldn-" she started to reply, shock evident in her voice. The shroomish's trusting reply stopped her though, and she turned to the Pokemon even more stunned.
So, the Shroomish, who seemed to have been more gravely hurt by humans, trusted her. And the Corsola did not. She listened to their bickering for a moment, momentarily forgetting about the Magikarp. But then, the fish spoke up, being cruelly hushed by the Corsola. "You claim that humans are evil, but you are just going to let Magikarp die!?" Ashley exclaimed, her voice drowned out by the Pokemons' conversation.
Angrily, she strode toward where the Magikarp was flailing weakly. She would probably get attacked by the Corsola, and maybe even the Shroomish, but she had to save the poor water-type. Before she got there,, however, the Pokemon took on a bright glow and its body grew, transforming into a serpentine shape. When the light faded, it was a huge Gyarados, and it was not happy.
Ashley stopped in her tracks, realizing the Pokemon's intent as he spoke. "Gyarados, Wa-" she started, but the Pokemon already attacked, thrashing with his tail and knocking back the two Pokemon. Ashley saw the serpents gyrations, an knew he was using Splash. she also knew that his larger mass would make the attack more effective.
"Everyone, look out!" She yelled, running back and grabbing her Mareep up in her arms. She grabbed the Shroomish as well, knowing the Corsola would be the least affected by the water attack. However, she still tried to protect it, holding the other two in her arms and putting her body over the three of them, her back to the Gyarados. She dug in her heels to try to keep from being pushed away by the force of the wave.
"Gyarados, please stop! They were angry, like you are now! They weren't actually trying to kill you!" the human yelled out, hoping to abate the large Pokemon's anger. As it was,s he didn't see any way of actually stopping the wave of water from that splash.
